I design activities that are ready- to-go for the classroom and school library.
I make goodies for teachers and school librarians (or teacher librarians- the name I prefer but no one uses:)) because I use them too.
Designing great digital lessons uses my professional gifts and training. I’ve spent SO. MANY. YEARS. honing these skills.
And I’ll show you how to use whatever I make. I give you a standards based lesson plan and usually a tutorial video. To pack that extra punch, sometimes I throw in a self grading quiz that I’ve made in Google forms.
I’m here to help you use tech to make your instruction more powerful without extra prep. Because, as a mom of three boys, I KNOW we don’t have time for that.

Do you dread the typical professional development that is taught to you while you have a million things to do? Does it seem detached from what’s actually happening in your instruction? Does the thought of one more initiative make you want to run away screaming? I feel that and I know how to help.
I’m a curriculum partner, a little different than a traditional tech trainer.
I DO believe most lessons and units can be made brighter and more accessible using the right type of tech.
I love using Google Workspace, and I’ve been a Google for Education Certified Trainer for many years. I’ve presented to educators around the county and teaching other teachers is part of my daily life.
I put students and high quality curriculum and instruction first. Tech is the tool that gets the results we want– all students engaged and learning at a high level.
I’m here to help you simplify edtech integration. Let’s talk about how I can work with you or your team.
I have a mind that likes to move… I keep busy. And during the COVD pandemic, my life as an educator and mom flipped on its head and I’m sure yours did too.
The 2021 school year started with me teaching three grades of special education fully online. Back to my roots, but with a BIG change.
For the past 13 years I’ve been a school librarian in a fantastic school district, and one of the joys of the role is that I have the freedom and flexibility to collaborate with teachers to design curricula enhanced with technology, grounded in research based best practices, accessible for all students, and low prep.
I’ve always vocally shared my knowledge and passion for designing digital lessons, tech coaching, literacies of all kinds, and various school library topics. But usually it’s at professional conferences, courses, trainings, and to friends.
I’ve gone to graduate school twice, earning Masters’ degrees in both Library and Information science and in Education with the focus on Instructional Technology.
My friends and colleagues regularly text me or call me to get my opinion, tweak a lesson, ask for the best tech tool to use, or just brainstorm together. I can do that with you too!
I am so excited to share this process with you.
I live in a smallish neighborhood in Ohio. I have three beautiful, wild and wonderful boys. We love camping and I especially love that we can camp in a travel trailer with air-conditioning and a bathroom –so I’m happy to go anywhere.
On the weekends you will find me camping with the fam, hanging out at home thinking about when I might get time to read my book, and wondering what Netflix series I’ll watch next… because they are always based on books I’ve already read!
If you’re an educator, I want to help you teach they way you want to, using the materials you’ve always wanted to make but don’t have time to create. I want to help you get your weekends back.
Connect with me on social or email me to let me know what I can design to help you enjoy the weekend!
